India
Do you know why India, which is called the golden bird, is counted among the poor countries today? And have you ever wondered why India was plundered? Who was the biggest person behind this plunder of India? Friends, today we all know that once upon a time our India was called the golden bird. Our country was counted among the richest countries in the world and India used to have the highest amount of gold.
Even every transaction here was done with gold currencies. India was rich in wealth as well as culture and knowledge. But then what happened suddenly that this wealth of India gradually disappeared. So in today’s video I am going to tell you how foreign robbers looted our motherland and why India was left so far behind. So let’s start the video. Friends, from the first century to the eleventh century, India was economically the richest country in the world. India was the main trade hub for everything from spices to clothes, sculpture to iron.
Foreign traders used to trade in gold currencies from India, due to which India had a lot of gold. Let me tell you that due to India’s involvement in almost all types of trade, many other countries along with the surrounding countries wanted to maintain good trade relations with us. India had a lot of gold due to trade, an example of which is India’s famous Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple. The value of gold found in 5 of the six big cellars here is said to be around Rs 2,00,000 crore.
There was another big reason behind India becoming so rich and that was the small scale industry run in every house, due to which gold came to every house after trade and due to this, at one time India had more gold than any other country in the world. It was gold. India’s annual earnings at this time were $33.8 million. India was also at the forefront in clothing trade. When people in Europe lived a wild life, India taught the world to wear and make clothes. At that time the finest cloth was made and sold in India. Friends, if seen educationally, our country is India whose name itself means knowledge and education.
Along with big universities like Nalanda and Takshashila, there were many other universities in our country where many people from abroad also came to get education. India told the world some things which it did not know before. Like geography. This word itself tells that the earth i.e. the earth is round. But this was not accepted until people saw the photo taken by Apollo. Jagat means that which is in motion, which means we knew thousands of years ago that the earth is not stable. If we talk about space, Aryabhata, who gave zero to the world, had told the distance between the Earth and the Sun thousands of years ago.
But today the world gives credit for this to Copernicus. At that time, India was the only friendly country that knew how to purify zinc and India had kept this technology hidden from the eyes of the world for 4000 years. It is said that India was discovered by Vasco da Gama, but very few people know that Vasco da Gama was afraid of the open sea and after the Cape of Good Hope, he reached India with the help of a Gujarati merchant named Kanha.
At that time Vasco da Gama had the largest seaplane in Europe. But you will be surprised to know that at that time Kanha had ships 12 times bigger than Vasco da Gama. From this we can guess why India was known as the golden bird. The people here were rich in talent. Friends, India has also been famous in the whole world culturally. Thousands of cultures have been practiced in our country for centuries.
Now the thing to think about is that after being so prosperous from all sides, what happened that India got looted in this way and went so far behind, then the first reason for loot in India was foreign robbers. Friends, India had so much wealth that people had stopped appreciating this wealth. You must have heard the name of Mahmood Ghazni. It is said that it attacked India 17 times and took root in our temples. Precious stones, treasures and precious idols kept in temples were looted and hundreds of temples were demolished.
He had committed major loot in Somnath temple. It is believed that there were 250 priests of the temple, 170 of Ghazni. Kept watching the soldiers silently looting the temple. Ghazni made a name for himself in Afghanistan with this money. Built a huge city and even after this, robbers like Taimur, Nadir Shah, Afzal, Ali continued looting India. Even after this. India had so much wealth that even after so much loot, robbers like Babar came here. Not only did he loot here, he also ruled here for many years on the strength of his family.
And this was called the Mughal Empire in history. In India, guests are given the status of God and this became the biggest reason for the looting of India. We all know that the British ruled India for about 200 years. They entered our country on the pretext of trade in the name of East India Company and first seduced us by selling things like their tea, flour, opium and biscuits and then made us their slaves.
These were all the things which we did not need much but still we took them. But why? Because the British had come to know about our weakness which was the attraction for free stuff. If we understand from the example of tea, India is a hot country. Here tea should neither be drunk nor grown. First we were given this tea for free and when we got used to it, it started being sold to us. And today India is the biggest consumer of tea and these robbers made huge profits from us by selling fake goods to us.
When India came under the rule of the British, they looted so much money from us as different countries. They imposed excise duty on buying goods and income tax on selling them and farmers had to pay more than fifty percent of the crops they grew as land revenue to the British. These British had looted the Indians so much in these 200 years that all the money earned for three thousand years was gone and now India was seen as a poor country. Let us tell you that according to Yushta Patnaik, an Indian economist, the British took away about 45 trillion dollars from India between 1765 and 1938, which would be some 33 lakh billion rupees in Indian rupees.
So much money was looted and the British invested this looted money from India in their country i.e. Britain and made new developments there. After independence, the declining economy of India and the war with Pakistan and China had made the economic condition of India even more worrying and today the economic condition of India is such that even today about 3.440000000 people have to live in extreme poverty. .
These people are struggling even to earn their daily bread. Friends, the British have looted India’s gold, silver, diamonds and gems as well as our knowledge. During his reign, he gave such a system which gave us knowledge but incomplete. And they did this so that we would always remain under them. Could never work in a high position and could not raise voice against them. Education was given in such a way that students started forgetting their own culture by adopting foreign methods.
To destroy the culture, they destroyed the great education system of India like Gurukul and implemented their own poor education system which is still going on and we are following it like fools. After this, to create division between religion and people, they spread the poison of caste in the minds of the people of the society. The saints who revealed the secrets of science and geography thousands of years ago through knowledge and yoga are now being taught PT in their place. These British rewrote our history.
He molded us with his ways in such a way that when he left our country, we started feeling ashamed of our own culture. Some of the rules made by the British for their own benefit are still intact and are being followed even today. An example of this is the rape law made by the British, which meant that in case of rape, women had to prove that they had been raped. Let me tell you that this law was made so that no one could prove the brutality of the British and they could rule over us however they wanted.
Friends, even though the British have taught us many good things like railways and post, they have taken many times more from us and anyway, they did all this for their own purpose and convenience. The British also looted us a lot culturally. First, he slowly weakened us by filling our minds with poison against each other and then, taking advantage of this weakness, he created divisions among us and made us fight among ourselves. That is, divide and rule strategy was adopted. When our unity broke, it was easier for them to rule over us, the weak Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs and Christians, instead of the powerful Indians.
The enmity created by this division by the British will cause great harm at the time of partition of India and Pakistan. Where crores of innocent people lost their lives and India and Pakistan remained enemies forever in the pages of history. Even after 76 years of independence, many times riots take place in the name of religion in our country, the benefit of which is now taken by political parties instead of the British. Today, after the loot of the British, now these black British i.e. corrupt leaders are busy filling their pockets by looting the country. A few termites out of greed for power started hollowing India from within, which continues even today.
Anyway, see you again with the powerful explanation of the History.
